02 | Spring 2018 Medical Negligence Newsletter Our Medical Negligence team news Our Charity of the Year As a firm, we have a proud tradition of supporting charities, especially those that are close to our team members’ hearts. From 1 May, our chosen charity is Alzheimer’s Society, and Ivan Moody, one of our Medical Negligence solicitors, will be working closely with the charity to help raise money to further its vital work. Ivan will be heavily involved in the Charity Committee work this year: “My mother is living with Alzheimer’s, so I know how vital it is to have the help and support of organisations like Alzheimer’s Society, who work tirelessly to challenge perceptions, fund research and improve care and support. They rely on donations, so we’ll be doing what we can to help them during the coming year by staging a programme of events”. James Sherwin promoted to Associate We’re delighted to announce that James Sherwin has been promoted to Associate within the firm. Commenting on his career, James said: “I really enjoy working at Attwaters Jameson Hill. My career, which began back in 2006, has taken me from office junior through to qualified Legal Executive, Solicitor and now to Associate, and I’d like to thank my colleagues for the support they’ve given me along the way. I’m now looking forward to embarking on this new chapter in my career”.
